Description
The BDS Movement called for a boycott of Microsoft at the beginning of April 2025. To our knowledge (please correct us if we're wrong), Typelevel is not currently paying GitHub anything to host its projects; nevertheless, it would be good to participate in the boycott.
This issue was inspired by #164; primarily we think the migration should be considered even more urgent than the aforementioned indicates.

Research direction
Start by reading the related issue #164 and inventorying the GitHub and other Microsoft products involved in Typelevel's work. Done means the community has agreed on a concrete migration scope and plan, rather than only a general boycott proposal.
