Research direction
Start by reading the linked gist for the proposed PostgreSQL range implementation and then locate Skunk's existing codec support for comparable PostgreSQL types. Done means adding range-type codec support with the expected encoding and decoding behavior; this issue names no files or tests, so the relevant project entry points still need to be identified.
