Description

Crosswalk allows iterating over a data structure using Align to accumulate, similar to how Traverse allows iterating over a data structure using Applicative. Haskell has this typeclass right here: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/semialign-1/docs/Data-Crosswalk.html

Research direction

Start with the linked Data-Crosswalk documentation and inspect the existing Traverse and Align abstractions named in the issue. Done means Cats provides a Crosswalk typeclass with behavior matching the described Align-based traversal.
