Research direction
Start with docs/api/config-options.md, especially the referenced lines 44-54, to understand the existing notes about MongoDB Binary version formats. Create a dedicated documentation guide explaining how to select a MongoDB version and configure selection reliably. Done means the guide covers both version selection and reliable configuration without relying only on the existing brief note.
