Adding your own data listings to the data browser

Hi all,

This is purely a question of where to begin, but is there any documentation for how to add / remove listings of datasets from the data browser in a light touch way, preferably without branching the code? It's a useful tool, and would like to use the feature to display listings of other data that I'm working with if possible.

Appreciate any guidance on this.
