should be able to break it into kernel (messaging, classpath, IO) and runtime (widgets, mime types).
in package terms, com.beakerx.kernel vs com.beakerx.anythingelse?
In this issue tracker we have labels for these two parts, but it's just descriptive.
this might be a dup but i could not find the original.
