Description

Hello everyone,

I have observed that I did not unlock the writing notes after reaching a RI of 5. I have hit the required RI on Sunday and ever since been hovering at about 20, which leads me to presume that this may be related to the outage mentioned in #346 .

The writing notes button gives me the reminder pop up before redirecting me to the screen asking for a RI of 5 and above.

I have checked the documentation and have not found that the feature has additional time gating.

This can be observed on both mobile and pc.
Logging out and in again does not change anything.

Considering this state has been persisting for 48 Hours I am now opening this issue. I have also reached out to the official CN account in DMs with no reply thus far.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified. Start by reproducing the RI 5+ writing-notes flow and compare the behavior with the documentation and the outage described in #346; it is done when an eligible contributor can open Writing Notes consistently on mobile and desktop.
