Description

Hello, I was trying to use the ldaptor proxy feature to manipulate ldap responses but I just realized that my client application uses VLV searches and, apparently, those break the proxy mechanism.
Is there a way to make it working ?

Research direction

The issue names no file, test, or specific entry point. Start by locating the proxy handling for LDAP responses and the VLV search path, then reproduce the reported failure with a client using VLV searches; done means VLV searches work through the proxy without breaking responses.
