Description

Prerequisites
Describe the issue

Research direction

Start with the reduced test case at getbootstrap.com/docs/5.2/forms/select/ and inspect the select markup in docs/forms/select. Find every default selected option in the documentation examples and verify that the change is applied consistently without affecting the visible guidance for visual users.
