Description

Hey LibSQL Team,

I'm digging LibSQL and thinking it could really use a real-time feature, something like what Supabase offers. This would be awesome for apps that need live data updates without refreshing.

I’m up for coding this feature. Before starting, I wanted to ask:

  1. Is anyone already working on something similar?
  2. Would this feature fit into what you envision for LibSQL?
  3. Any specific guidelines or ideas you have in mind for implementing this?
  4. Keen to hear your thoughts and hopefully contribute to LibSQL!

Regards,
Albin

Research direction

The proposal does not identify a file, test, or entry point for the CDC feature. First clarify the intended real-time behavior, scope, and fit with LibSQL before locating the relevant database components. Done would require an agreed design and implementation criteria, which the issue does not yet define.
