Description
Describe the bug
The softdtw_barycenter discards the imaginary part of the input array.
I'm not sure if the algorithm could in principle work with complex numbers so this may not be a bug.

Research direction
Start by locating the softdtw_barycenter entry point and any existing tests for its input dtype handling. Determine whether complex-valued inputs are intended to be supported, then establish a test or documentation outcome that makes the expected treatment of the imaginary part explicit.
