Question: new AI-assisted contributor eligibility and sponsorship onboarding

I’m considering contributing to core#3103 (accepted resistor tolerance is omitted from Circuit JSON) under the monthly contribution sponsorship program. I read the current sponsorship-calculation document and see the recent monthly calculation records.

Before treating this as paid work, could you confirm whether new contributors using AI-assisted research, implementation and tests are eligible, and which payout/onboarding channel a new contributor should use? The work would be submitted under this GitHub account with AI assistance disclosed; I am not claiming a fixed bounty or guaranteed sponsorship.

The technical scope appears to be an optional normalized tolerance field in circuit-json, followed by preserving the already-parsed 0–1 tolerance in core and regression tests. If this program is not currently accepting new contributors, that would also be useful to know.

Update: I am based in China and have no approved freelance-platform account yet. Is there a supported payout/onboarding route for a new contributor resident in China? I also found existing circuit-json tolerance PRs #693 and #699, so I have deferred that candidate rather than submitting a duplicate. The general sponsorship-eligibility question still applies.

Done means the supported eligibility and payout route are documented or the question receives a definitive answer.
