Description
Using PST results in an unstable setup compared to TVF:
Switching to ConsistentShiftingSun2019 from TVF is all that is required to reproduce this.
The boundary layers are unstable because there seems to be some kind of disturbance in the fluid particles near the wall boundary, which evolves into the shown wavy pattern which should not be present.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the Poiseuille flow setup described in the issue, then switch the shifting method from TVF to ConsistentShiftingSun2019 and compare the boundary layers. Investigate the disturbance near the wall and use the TVF result as the stability reference; done means the PST setup no longer develops the reported wavy pattern.
