Tables not rendering in HTML

I'm trying to get the following MD document to render proper HTML. The ouput is not as I would expect. The tables are not rendering as I would expect. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Reproduce the report from test2.md with python3 -m markdown2 test2.md and compare its HTML with the mdv rendering shown in the issue. Trace the parser behavior for the two table examples, including the indented table, and verify the resulting HTML matches the intended table structure without regressing the surrounding headings and list.
