Description
I'm trying to give a relative link to the markdown file as follows:
[download](../../storage/something.zip)
this is being resolved as:
<a href="file:///some/path/storage/something.zip">download<a>
this is unnecessary, as the relative path should not be resolved, as relative path will be resolved automatically by the browser regardless of whether using the file locally (not hosted on server) or hosting on a server.
for now I have to put the link as:
[download](http://www.myserver.com/storage/something.zip)
this is unsatisfactory as the hostname can change (the host can be ip:port combination also, which worsens the situation)
