Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It's a bit unclear, if you want people to send PRs for a myriad of backends like cloud-specific stuff ex AWS Dynamo, Azure Cosmos, etc, or what about Neo4J?
Describe the solution you'd like
Please give good guidance on how to implement support for more backends, either via a annotation based system maybe, to enumerate installed backends from third party pypi packages or if you have certain requests for PRs of backends, what is allow, how generic they need to be etc
