Description

I like Operator Mono, it has font weight = 100. It look nice on my laptop. After using Operator Mono, Fira Code look a quite fat). Unfortunately, Operator Mono supports stupid italic, and doesn't support ligatures.

I may work without ligatures, but i damn hate italic font in themes! It's like a virus, many of looking nice themes used italic... So, i hope, you could add font with weight = 100.

And thanks for your work.

Research direction

The issue requests additional thin font weights, specifically 100 or 200, for Fira Code and expresses a preference against italic styling. Start by reviewing the repository's font sources and build process; done means the requested thin weight is available and the result matches the stated styling expectation. Confirm the current scope before starting because the issue has gone unanswered for years.
