Description

I love how |> becomes a right-pointing triangle, I use it everyday in my shell prompt!
I like it better than , the white right-pointing triangle Unicode, because this symbol appears smaller than the text next to it. Ditto for <|.

Why don't render /_\ as an up-pointing triangle and \-/ (or something else) to a down-pointing one?

Research direction

No file or test is named. Start by locating FiraCode’s ligature definitions and any rendering tests, then determine how /_\ and \-/ are represented and validated. Done means the requested upward and downward triangle ligatures render consistently with the existing |> and <| ligatures.
