Description
I love that the pipe symbol can be used within an arrow sequence:
-------|------->
It would be great if this could be extended to parentheses () as well as brackets [] {}. A reasonable use case is:
A ---( has a )---> B

Research direction
Start from the issue's arrow-sequence examples and investigate how the font currently handles the pipe symbol within arrows. Extend the behavior to parentheses, square brackets, and braces, then verify that the example A ---( has a )---> B renders with the intended ligatures.
