Description

Does this font support italics? If so, does it use different glyphs for some letters in their italic form? I hope it DOES NOT. Some fonts use different glyphs, claiming it to be helpful:

  • JetBrains Mono

  • MonoLisa

In both of those cases, I find it annoying that at some sizes and colors, the italic "a" looks too much like an "o". I would prefer the "a" to keep the shape shown on the left of those two examples.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Review the font's italic support and glyph shapes against the examples; done means confirming whether italic glyphs exist and whether the italic “a” retains its upright form.
