Description
.|. and company anger me typographically on a deep level.
I don’t know how you’d make a ligature out of this, so maybe just center the surrounding dots and touch up the kerning.

Research direction
Start by locating how existing programming ligatures are defined and previewed, then compare the Haskell operators .|., .\&. and .^. with the current font output. Done means these operators have an agreed typographic treatment, with the requested ligatures or adjusted dot placement and kerning rendered correctly.
