Description

Currently, I suspect that the way refunds will be processed if there is an overage and then the project is cancelled is that they will use the entire sum of funds contributed, rather than giving all overage funds back to those who contributed after the project was 'fully funded'. This might be OK, but how would we want to do this in the future?

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. First clarify the intended refund policy for cancelled projects with overage, including how contributions after full funding are treated, then trace the existing refund and cancellation flow. Done means the policy is agreed and its implementation requirements and tests are specified.
