Description

This is pretty standard, and lets users know which version they're using, if unsure. brew tracks version information, but if users download binaries directly it won't be easy to tell which is which.

  • turnkey version
  • turnkey -v
  • turnkey --version

Should all return the current CLI version ideally.

Research direction

Start by locating the CLI command and flag registration, then trace how the current version is available to the binary. Verify that turnkey version, turnkey -v, and turnkey --version all return the current CLI version.
