Description
hey, I'm new to Effect, and I've seen your library mentioned on Reddit here.
One of the most difficult things when learning a new paradigm like Effect is mapping out its features against existing solutions.
We are currently using Zustand to manage the global state in our app. Since I've started to learn Effect, I've vacillated between "keeping Zustand as-is" and "refactoring Zustand to an Effect service".
Now that I see effect-atom exists, I am more inclined toward the latter approach. However, it's possible that I've misunderstood what this library does, hence my request - could you please clarify in the README whether this is meant as a replacement for libraries like Zustand/Jotai?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the README's current description of effect-atom alongside the requested comparison with Zustand and Jotai. Clarify whether effect-atom is intended as a replacement for those global-state libraries, using the project's existing terminology; done when readers can understand how the approaches relate.
