Description

Hi, I'm dealing with a time series with an extreme outlier, and I've found the function outliers, that I imagine uses the IQR to determine if the observation is considered an outlier. However, there's no documentation about how to use it. Is this currently being developed?

Research direction

Start by locating the outliers function and reviewing its current usage and behavior. Add user-facing documentation showing how to use it and explaining its outlier criterion; done when users can find the function's documented usage and understand how observations are classified.
