Research direction

Reproduce the issue in Thunderbird for Android 14.0b1 or 13.0 on Android 15 or 16 with Dark Mode enabled, using the described security-alert email if available. Start by tracing the email-content rendering and theme handling, then compare dark and light modes; done means blue hyperlinks, a bordered button, and no footer artefacts in Dark Mode.
