Steps to reproduce
  1. Start new email.
  2. Save as Draft
  3. Do something else.
  4. Re-open Draft and edit.
  5. Save as Draft.
  6. Open Inbox

Research direction

No source file or test is identified in the report. Start by reproducing the draft-edit-save sequence on Android 15 with Thunderbird 11.1 and capture usable crash logs; done means opening an Inbox message no longer shuts down the app after those steps.
