App

Thunderbird for Android

App version

13.0b2

Where did you get the app from?

Google Play

Android version

Android 15

Device model

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Steps to reproduce

Simply log into an email account with IMAP protocol.
Try to delete a random email - read or unread.
It seems to be deleted but appears as new email after next sync.

Expected behavior

Emails should be deleted on the Server and the device which obviously doesn't happen.

Actual behavior

Get an error message that Mail couldn't be sent where there is no mail in the outbox.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing deletion with an IMAP account on Thunderbird for Android 13.0b2 and inspect the attached error log; done means deleted messages stay deleted on the server and device without an outbox error.
