Description

Related to #6206.

When an authentication failure occurs due to wrong credentials, usually happening when the user's password has changed, the user should receive an in-app notification explaining the failure, including the reason when possible, and they should be asked to verify their server configurations.

Research direction

Start by reviewing related issue #6206 and tracing where authentication failures from wrong credentials are handled. Determine how an in-app fatal notification is represented, which failure reason can be shown, and how server configuration guidance is presented; done means the notification appears for this failure and asks the user to verify configuration.
