App

Thunderbird for Android

App version

11.0b1

Where did you get the app from?

Google Play

Android version

14

Device model

Samsung Galaxy Fold 4

Steps to reproduce
  1. Launch TB.
  2. Login with valid credentials.
  3. Go to inbox.
  4. Select any email from Inbox.
  5. Click on 3 dot menu.
  6. Select Forward as attachment.
  7. Notice that the email displayes the size of the .eml attachment (in my case 99.8KB)
  8. Send the email.
  9. Receive it on another email that is logged in TB.
Expected behavior

The received email attachment should have the same size displayed as from the account that sent it.

Actual behavior

The received email attachment displays 0kb for the .eml attachment.
Opening the attachment displays broken images and content.

Reproduce the issue in Thunderbird for Android 11.0b1 using the listed forwarding steps, then review the supplied attachments.txt log while tracing the forwarded .eml attachment. Done means the received attachment retains its original size and opens with intact images and content.
