Steps to reproduce
When I want to mark text (with the mouse) in the message preview and move the cursor over the text, the mouse pointer changes to a comma. This is fine, but as soon as I start to highlight text, a few letters are highlighted and the whole message starts scrolling to the next or previous message (like when I want to scroll through messages on the touch screen to next or previous). So you can't mark more than two or three letters from the message... Tested on Samsung Dex on external screen (dock was used) and USB mouse.
Expected behavior
Just a standard text label for the option of copying to the clipboard.
Actual behavior
It is possible to mark only a few letters.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue on Android 14 using Samsung DeX and a USB mouse, then trace the message preview's text-selection and swipe-navigation handling. Done means selecting more than a few letters no longer navigates to the next or previous message, while copying selected text remains possible.
