Description

Right now the "configuration found" box looks like this:

Possible ways to improve this:

  • Shorten the explanation text for why the configuration is not trusted
  • Display incoming and outgoing configuration in a more compact way (see TB desktop screenshot below for inspiration)
  • Display where the configuration was found (TB desktop displays either “Configuration found at email provider” or “Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database”)
  • Change the "edit configuration" button text to not always be orange

Research direction

Start by reproducing the account setup flow and inspecting the current “configuration found” box shown in the issue. Compare it with the supplied Thunderbird desktop example, then clarify which of the proposed changes are required. Done should include an agreed compact presentation of incoming and outgoing settings, the configuration source, and revised wording and button styling.
