Problem you are trying to solve

I'm using K9 with Samsung DEX (or formally Desktop Mode), but the experience is not good.

Scroll not working in email message window.

The scroll work only outside the message window, but when inside message scroll stop work. But if I click and pull up or down (simulating touching the screen with the mouse), it back works.

Suggested solution

With an email message open, I expect mouse scrolling to work moving the page up or down.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue on Samsung DeX with an email message open, comparing mouse scrolling inside and outside the message window. Trace the message-view scrolling entry point and verify that mouse wheel input moves the message page up and down without requiring click-and-drag.
