Problem you are trying to solve

Currently there is only one type of mail list widget available. Its the unified inbox widget. That's very nice, but it would be even more awesome if i could choose what account and even what sub-folder in an account should be displayed.

You might ask, why would this be useful? Well, here is what i would love to use it for (my previous workflow from the Gmail app that i removed thanks to K9). On one of my accounts i use server side filtering (sieve) to sort a lot of incoming status emails. For example from my build server (CI/CD) i get an email for every build done. But i use server side filtering to sort out all builds that are broken, because i only have to interact with them. So it would be awesome if i could have a widget on my Android that displays only the INBOX/broken-builds email folder. So when i scroll thru the home screen i see imidiatly that there is an email in that widget and that i have to act on it.

Suggested solution

A widget like the unified inbox one that lets users select the account and even the sub folder to display.
