Problem you are trying to solve
This icon shows you, that you replied to the email, but to find the reply you have to go through your sent emails and find it manually.
Suggested solution
When you click on the icon, your reply should be shown. When there are multiple replies (to just this one email, not including replies to replies), show them in a list.
