Description
Hi,
I frequently get reports mailed to me by my servers' scheduled tasks. These are just outputs, and are often thousands of lines of text/plain text.
These emails show one of two problems:
- They start displaying quickly when opened but K-9 gets stuck (ANR) when I start scrolling down (I've sent a Feedback Report from the ANR menu for this situation)
- They do not start displaying quickly and it takes minutes before anything shows. Touching the screen in the meantime produces the ANR warning.
This did not used to be the case. I think this started happening after the (very nice!) major revamp.
With kind regards,
Sven Berkvens-Matthijsse

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with a large text/plain email containing thousands of lines, checking both initial display and scrolling behavior. Done means these messages display promptly and can be scrolled without an ANR; the payload does not identify a source file or test to run.
