Description
K-9 often can't connect to the internet after a while. I have to kill and reopen it to make it work.
Internet in the same time works perfectly for other apps (browser, for example).
How can I help you for improving this ?
Environment
K-9 Mail version: 5.402 F-droid
Android version: 7.1.2 (LOS)
Account type (IMAP, POP3, WebDAV/Exchange): IMAP

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported connectivity failure with an IMAP account on Android, then inspect the connection pool mentioned in the issue. Done means idle IMAP connections close after a reasonable timeout and the app can reconnect without being killed and reopened.
