Description

Checklist
  • I have used the search function to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report.
  • I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible.
App

Thunderbird Daily for Android

App version

20.0a1

Where did you get the app from?

From ftp.mozilla.org/thunderbird.mobile/android/

Android version

16

Device model

Nothing Phone 4a Pro

Steps to reproduce

I was typing away like crazy, and after 10 minutes of text, i wanted to check,
if the line breaks would look good in landscape mode so I wouldn't end up
with super-long sentences in my email.

I rotated it once to the left, then back to the right.

Expected behavior

Let me continue to write my draft!

Actual behavior

The draft writing was gone - the approximately draft away like never written?

Not saved anything, and I have to start all over again...

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the report. Start by reproducing the issue in Thunderbird Daily for Android 20.0a1 on Android 16, typing a draft and rotating between portrait and landscape; done means the draft text remains available after rotation.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
