Description
Translate the accepted Portable Profile Data Format RFC into a technical design defining the implementation-level archive, import/export, and backup contracts.
The technical design should define:
- The archive manifest, layout, versioning, and PDPArchive revision adapters
- The portable-versus-device-local data inventory and exact record schemas
- Stable identifiers, revisions, origins, and tombstones
- Mail and metadata mapping to PDPArchive
- Validation, selective import, and conflict-handling behavior
- The encrypted full-backup envelope, key derivation, and key-handling policy
- Module placement, API boundaries, privacy constraints, and verification strategy
