App

Thunderbird for Android

App version

19.2

Where did you get the app from?

Other

Android version

13 (xos) 64 bit

Device model

Infinix note 30 vip

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open a mail marked as read
  2. Swipe left to open another mail
  3. Press icon to mark it unread
  4. Press back button to open the list
  5. Message is still read (bug 1st)
  6. Open some mail again
  7. Swipe more
  8. App crashed (bug 2nd)
Expected behavior

The mail which is opened after swipe should be marked as unread. No crashes must occur.

Actual behavior

Mark as unread is ignored. Some more swipes cause crash.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the swipe and mark-as-unread sequence on Thunderbird for Android 19.2 with Android 13, then inspect the attached k9mail-logs.txt for the crash. Confirm that the message remains unread after returning to the list and that repeated swipes no longer crash the app.
