Description

https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/issues/10079

Users have requested features like this before. The process to turn on push notifications and sync for each folder is lengthy for all users, and impossible for some.

We could allow a global setting to default sync to all accounts, with local account overrides if a user wanted it turned off for a particular folder, if global sync was on.

Would this be feasible? Does it use up too many resources? Could we get a design for it? What would it take to meet user expectations here?

Scope it out, document any reasons for/against it, and respond to users looking for the feature, if we're deciding against it.
