App
Thunderbird for Android
App version
19.0
Where did you get the app from?
Google Play
Android version
Android 16, Samsung One UI 8.5
Device model
Samsung Galaxy A55 5G
Steps to reproduce
Open Thunderbird App
Open hamburger-menu on top left
Choose settings
Choose general settings (German "Allgemeine Einstellungen)
Choose Notifications
Choose Notification Actions (German "Benachrichtigungsaktionen)
Configure up to three actions and sort as desired
Expected behavior
I am expecting that the before chosen actions will show in the next "new message notifications" as clickable actions, in the desired sorting.
Actual behavior
No matter how many actions in whichever sorting I configure, I always see "read | answer | favorit".
Also / Already tried:
- restart of device --> no success
- force-stopp of app and clearing cache --> no success
- force-stopp of app and de-/re-activate android/system notification settings for thunderbird app --> no success.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in Thunderbird for Android 19.0 through Settings > General settings > Notifications > Notification Actions, then compare the configured actions and order with a new-message notification. Done means the selected actions appear as clickable notification actions in the configured order; the issue provides no files or tests to target.
