Steps to reproduce
- Get a mail from a mailing list or newsletter.
- Check that the From email is random, but the Reply-To isn't (and is in your contacts).
- The contact appears in blue when checking the mails headers, but not when browsing the inbox.
Expected behavior
The mail author should have a different color to indicate it's from someone in my contacts.
Actual behavior
the mail author isn't colorized in the inbox, only when checking individual fields in the mail.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the difference between the inbox list and the individual message header fields using a mailing-list or newsletter message with a contact in Reply-To. Trace the inbox contact-coloring entry point and compare it with the header behavior; done means the Reply-To contact is colorized in the inbox when the From address is not.
