Description
Needs Technical Design and remaining work.
High Level - message part is decoupled from startup logic. Also needs to be applied to deeplink handling.
Message currently handles mail intent and startup logic. Needs a lean Main Activity, and move navigation logic from feature launcher into Main Activity.
This is a breakout of the logic in the old Message Home Activity.
Main Activity vs. Message Home Activity (old logic)
Goal: drop all those activities and fragments! Plan for a single activity approach.

Research direction
Start by writing the technical design for MainActivity state handling, using the old Message Home Activity logic as the baseline. Trace how startup, mail intents, deeplinks, and feature-launcher navigation currently interact. Done means the message and deeplink paths are decoupled from startup logic and the planned single-activity direction is addressed.
