Description
Describe the bug
My domain does not have BIMI so it is using the fav icon from my website to display beside the email. The transparent areas on a icon are not showing as transparent. If you look at the attached screen shot you can see the browser shows it as transparent in the dev tools but the web page is showing it with purple showing
To Reproduce
Create a fav icon for a domain and create transparency sections
Expected behavior
Transparent colours should be honoured and displaced as transparent
Actual behavior
The color marked as transparent shows up

Research direction
Reproduce the favicon transparency issue in the webmail interface using an image with transparent areas, then trace where the website favicon is loaded and rendered. Done means transparent pixels remain transparent in the rendered favicon in Firefox, without the underlying color appearing.
