Description
Probably because Thunderbird puts the aliased name to the username. I think Outlook allows this (as it even allows signing in with alias email), dunno what Google does.
More context: I put my alias email into Thunderbird configuration screen and got the automatic configuration, thought it would work. It seemed to work until I got retrieval failure later.
