Description

Right now we manually do a if/else to create the approriate calendar connector. Since these should be within the same interface (same function calls)

Instead we could just have a function/class that creates the approriate calendar connector and that would clean things up a bunch.

Research direction

Start by locating the current if/else that creates calendar connectors and review the shared connector interface and function calls. Define completion as connector creation being centralized in a factory class or function while preserving the existing connector behavior; no specific files or tests are named in the issue.
