Description

Environment
  • TeXstudio: 4.1.2
  • Qt: 6.2.2
  • OS: macOS 11.6
  • TeX distribution: texlive
Expected behavior

By default, the current line is in the editor with a blue background. In some (not all) lines, the text is slightly shifted downward when the line gets highlighted.

Actual behavior

The text should not be shifted when a line is highlighted.

How to reproduce

Can you reproduce this? Otherwise I could produce a screencast.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the editor's current-line highlighting behavior using the listed TeXstudio, Qt, macOS, and TeX Live versions, focusing on lines where the text shifts downward. Compare affected and unaffected lines, then verify that highlighting leaves text position unchanged; the issue does not name a source file or test to run.
