Description

Feature Suugestion

Would be nice to be able to know, whether the device has currently dark mode enabled.

Could be useful for example in .bashrc:

if [[ "$(termux-dark-mode | jq .enabled)" == "true" ]]; then
  cat ~/themes/dark_theme > ~/.termux/color.properties
fi

Research direction

Start by locating the existing command entry points and tests for Termux API commands, using the proposed termux-dark-mode command as the interface reference. Determine how the device's dark-mode state should be exposed and verify the result supports the .bashrc and jq usage shown; done means the command reliably reports whether dark mode is enabled.
