Description
Using termux-volume ring x only works while the phone is in vibrate or normal but it crashes termux:API when used while the phone is on silent. It happens when x > 0. Is this a bug or is there any way to revert the phone from silent to vibrate or normal mode to get rid of this issue?

Research direction
Start by reproducing termux-volume ring x while the phone is silent, then trace the command's Android handling. The payload names no source file or test, so locating the relevant entry point will require project familiarity. Done means the command no longer crashes when x > 0 in silent mode, with behavior matching the intended volume-mode handling.
